The Challenge

The property and regeneration company Inland Homes are currently developing the former army barracks at Hounslow, rebranded by Location Collective as ‘The Forces’. Once complete, the site will deliver new homes and public open space alongside leisure and community areas. The owners have engaged Location Collective to manage the site for filming and production space hires.

Solution

The vacant site features a wide and versatile mix of aesthetic backdrops; 33 assorted and unique ‘looks’, ranging in period from the 18th through to the 20th century. In order to adapt a number of units for production space usage, Location Collective has managed a project including the formation of production offices, construction workshops and prop stores as well as costume storage.

Location Collective secured a hire with a major streaming and production company who occupied the site as a key base for filming, fully utilising the site’s potential for exterior set build, whilst also taking advantage of the location’s ample potential for front-of-camera filming.

Other hires have included: The Baby, The Gold, Pennyworth, Breeders and Grantchester.
