The Challenge
Bateman’s Row is an architect-designed penthouse apartment in Shoreditch with sleek interior spaces and great city-scape views. The private owners live in the apartment with their daughter.
With its large, open plan living area, Bateman’s Row is popular with film productions for a dense, urban (but upscale) scene, popular with directors for the overground train which trundles right past the large floor to ceiling windows.
The owners are proud of their home and love to see it on film and in print. They enjoy seeing the filming process in action and all aspects of the creative arts at work.

Why Filming Works
Location Collective have come to know the owners well over our six-year relationship. We have developed a bespoke hire agreement, carry out recces on their behalf if they are unable, understand the times the family can accommodate filming, and book hotel rooms if required for late shoots.
Over the years, we have secured filming from features and TV dramas including The Split, Dark Heart, New Tricks, Survivor, Long Way Down and Luther. The apartment has also featured in commercials and photoshoots for Xbox, Mr Porter, Adidas and Armani amongst many others. During the course of our relationship with the owners we have secured over £138k in filming revenue.
Location Collective are great. Everyone else is useless. The gulf is staggering.
